Risks! Please note that each version of the Leprechaun bot has a label in the upper right corner that shows how aggressive the robot is. You need to keep an eye on aggressive bots, stop the bot in difficult trading situations, top up your deposit, and resolve things manually. If you do not understand how this is done, it is better not to use robots labeled as "high risk". I’ll say right away that the set has not been tested for years, it was run over months and days with different turn-on times. The result suits me. The goal was to get the maximum from the minimum.

    • Leprechaun v4.5.11

      1. We introduce a new concept “Order Session” into robot trading. The introduction of this function will help you complete large recoilless movements with less drawdown than before. The function allows you to split a grid of orders into several subgrids that are opened at a specified distance, taking into account candlestick analysis if it is enabled. New parameters: "Number of orders per session" and "Step of orders between sessions". If the "Number of orders for one session" parameter is equal to the "Maximum number of orders for one direction" parameter, then orders will be opened in a regular single grid without using this function.

      2. When thralling - enabling X% margin protection (for example 3000%) - both trading directions stop using the thrall and set a reduced take profit.

      3. When thralling - enable protection by the number of orders (for example, 15 pcs.), the direction where this number of orders has been reached stops using the thrall and sets take profit, while the other direction continues to use the thrall according to the trend.

      4. In case of a trail, two dotted lines indicate the level of activation of the trail (for buy, the upper blue line, for sell, the lower red line) and the stop loss level (for buy, the lower blue line, for sell, the upper red line).

      5. Thrall previously did not work if virtual Take Profit was enabled, this has been fixed. Now, regardless of the take profit, real or virtual, when the thrall is turned on, the thrall plays a dominant role and cancels take profits, but at the same time, the functions of reducing take profit by margin or number of orders will work as long as there are appropriate conditions for their operation.

      6. An ASK price line has been added to the chart to understand the level of closing orders and activating the thrall.

      7. The horizontal indent of the last candle on the chart is shifted to the left so that the price is not under the information panel.

    • Leprechaun v4.5.12

      When the "DRYING" mode is activated (regardless of the reason for turning on the drying), the trailing stop mode is automatically turned off and the take profit mode (real or virtual, depending on the selected settings) is turned on. This will allow you to close with a reduced TP on Friday and also dry faster on regular days if you have selected a drying mode for time not only on Friday.

      Take profit has become separate, one take profit for orders in the BUY direction, the second take profit for orders in the SELL direction. This is done for those who participate in the bot trading process and apply it in a similar way, example: the price went up, a drawdown accumulated in the sell direction, and at buy orders were opened with a small starting lot and closed according to a common TP (this was the case before, before the TP split !!!).

      Now, when the price goes up, having analyzed and set the level - the goal of the price going up, where a possible price stop or reversal is expected, we can set our take profit for the BUY direction, which would be approximately at the level where we expect the price to stop.

      When manually selecting buy orders in this case and placing a separate TP at the price stop level, we get:

      1) locking of losses,

      2) greater profit,

      3) greater strength, stability of the deposit against subsidence of the cell grid.

      (You need to understand technical analysis).

      With default settings, version 4.5.14 trades the same as version 4.5.10.

    • Leprechaun v4.5.19

      1) Added locking: a new section has appeared in the settings "Locking a losing position". When locking is enabled, a locking order is opened either according to the drawdown level on the current trading instrument or according to the margin level, whichever comes first. When the price passes X points, a stop loss is set at breakeven + 5 pips. After closing a locking order manually or using a stop loss, the lock is no longer placed. To activate the locking function, you will need to go to “Global Variables” by pressing the F3 button on the keyboard and delete the variable with the name “Lock_SYMBOL_1000”, instead of “SYMBOL” the name of the trading instrument will be written.

      2) The parameter "Indent of the limiter from the current price" has been corrected. All parameters in the settings related to points and pips on the chart are set in the settings in points and the bot itself, depending on the type of account (4-digit quotes or 5-digit), translates these values automatically. For an account with 5-digit quotes, the bot converts the values in pips from the settings into 5-digit ones and operates with pips. This was not done for the parameter “Indent of the limiter from the current price”; now it has been corrected, and the value must be specified in points.

      3) Fixed an error in the lot size of averaging orders in the limit orders mode (“Enable limit orders” - TRUE).

      4) Added a restriction on opening any orders with a spread higher than the one specified in the settings (set in points).

      5) Added a function to prohibit the opening of first and averaging orders when the drawdown level specified in the settings is reached.

      6) Added a function to prohibit the opening of first and averaging orders when the margin level specified in the settings is reached.

      7) Added a mode for opening orders by candlesticks. If previously the need to open orders was checked at each tick and the passed step was checked, then with this mode the need to open orders will be checked only at the opening of each new candle. In the settings, you can select the Timeframe for the candles of this mode, the more TF, the fewer orders the robot will open, the smaller the TF, the more often the robot will analyze and the more orders will be opened.

      8) For the mode of opening orders by candlesticks, a block has been added to increase the Timeframe for analyzing the need to open orders with a different number of orders in the direction, the more orders in the direction, the worse the Timeframe can be set, which will reduce the number of opened orders against the trend.

      9) Auto-activation of sessions by the number of orders, by drawdown and by margin used to work for two directions at once, but now it is applied only to the direction where there is a larger number of orders, the second direction works as usual.

    • Leprechaun v4.5.20

      Locking:

      1) When a locking order is open, orders in the unprofitable direction are no longer opened.

      2) Added the parameter “Take StopLoss in Used in points”, which allows you to set a profit in points for a locking order when closing with a stop loss.

      3) Added the parameter "Lot as a percentage of the total volume of a losing direction" which allows you to specify the size of a locking order as a percentage of the total lot of a losing position. At 100% there will be locking. At 200% or more, there will already be an excess of volume in the direction of the trend, which, if the movement continues, will allow closing the lock and loss. direction to breakeven or profit (see next parameter)

      4) Added the parameter “Close in used location and loss direction”, which allows you to close them in used direction upon reaching the overall breakeven in the location and loss direction.

      5) Added trailing stop for a locking order (added parameters: "Use Trailing Stop - true, StopLoss - false"; "Activate trailing stop after X points", "Pull up stop loss at a distance of X points"). Please note that if the parameter "Use Trailing Stop - true, StopLoss - false" is set to "true", then the locking order will use a trailing stop, stop loss settings ("StopLoss in Used after X points" and "Take StopLoss in Used in points") will not work.

      Attention!!! I remind you that locking must be activated after each use, to do this, go to the global variables of the terminal (hot key F3) and delete the variable "Lock_Symbol_1000", where "Symbol" is the name of the trading instrument where the bot trades, and "1000" is the magic number from the settings for locking order.

      Limit orders:

      6) Added new modes of operation of limit orders related to the lot size of orders. The limit order system is made not statically but dynamically, this means that a pending order is pulled up at the current price and opened at the best price. In the “Same as before” mode, limit games work as before and will open with the lot that is provided for in other bot settings. In the "Increasing lot size by step" mode - when the price passes more than 1 step, the limit limiter's lot will be equal to = next lot * per distance traveled. Example: the next lot should be 0.10, the price has passed the distance from the previous order not 1 step, but 1.8 steps, therefore the limit lot size will be 0.10 * 1.8 = 0.18. In the “Increase Lot Lot by Martin” mode, the next limit lot is increased, taking into account the distance and martin for each step passed by the price. Moreover, the passed step is always rounded to the upper integer, for example, step 3.2 becomes 4, then the next lot size is 0.10 * LotExponent - martin 1.5 and so on we increase it 4 times. Trading is more aggressive in this mode, but the grids close quickly and the profitability is higher.

      7) Added the option “Enable limiters after X order” - allowing you to launch limiters not immediately but after X order in the direction.

      Miscellaneous:

      8) At closing there is a loss. directions based on drawdown using the "Drawdown (%) direction to close direction orders" parameter, trading in this direction is no longer carried out. To allow trading in this direction, you need to go to the global variables of the terminal and delete the variable: for the buy direction - "Lepr4DDEBB1_Symbol_999", for the sell direction - "Lepr4DDEBS1_Symbol_999", where "Symbol" is the name of the trading instrument on which trading is carried out, and "999" is magic number.

      Added a parameter that disables the function of closing a direction based on drawdown. Previously, it was believed that by setting a drawdown value of 100% to close a direction, this function of closing direction orders would not work, and thus it was disabled. But as it turned out, when trading on one trading account and with a bot and hands in two directions, when locking positions, the unprofitable direction may have a drawdown of 100 percent or more of the deposit size in the presence of opposite orders in plus, which allowed this function to close orders of the direction to work even with value 100%.

      Many of you are interested in what depot makes such earnings per day))))) Curiosity killed the cat when she climbed into the transformer booth (remember this))))) But seriously, of course the depot is an order of magnitude larger than the standard one, BUT where did it suddenly come from....a short excursion into history.....started on March 22 with a depot of 200 bucks, with the bot stopping, by the end of April - beginning of May (I sent Barin screenshots) the bot brought 100%, i.e. the depot became 400 Baku. This all happened on v4.5.8. At this time, v4.5.15 very quickly appeared and I began testing it.

      By the end of May (of course, observing RM and MM, I slowly loaded the bot on v4.5.8) the depot grew by about 120% more than in April and was about 1000 bucks. After testing on v4.5.15, I wrote that I would transfer the bot to the youth league. I stopped my other algorithms and transferred the money to 2 accounts with Leprechaun. There was an opportunity to do this, if it weren’t, Leprechaun himself would have grown in 2-3 months, with the current settings. The depot loading settings were the same as at smaller depots. Of course, after Leprechaun makes another 1-2 X, I will reduce the risks by an expected profit of about 30-50%, but I wrote a post on this topic before, I will repeat it below.

      The amounts you see in the screenshots are not dollars, but euros. (a little life hack for you). Thanks to this, I received a safety margin in the depot of about 20-22%. Now the calculation of the load on the depot is about 60-100% for the estimated profit. I mainly use the Stakhanovets set (after the latest optimization it has become more optimal), switching to Lazy Guy in moments of expected uncertainty in the market.

      Conclusion…..don’t rush to earn all the market money, have patience. I understand that trading is a very boring business, don’t you? At 0, this function is disabled and the calculation occurs as in example No. 1 and No. 2 below. If this parameter is not equal to 0, then you need to indicate how many times you want to duplicate the main starting lot - see example No. 3 below.

      Example 1: deposit $10,000 dollars (1,000,000 cents), we want to open a lot of 0.01 for every $1,000 dollars (100,000 cents). Then we need to set the parameter “Deposit for lot 0.01” to the value 100,000 (without spaces), as a result we get that the lot size will be 0.01 for the main order and 1,000,000 / 100,000, from the resulting lot minus the lot of the main order 0.01, we get 0.09. Total: a main order with a lot of 0.01 and an additional order with a lot of 0.09 will be opened.

To do this, you need to increase the additional lot not by 19 times, but by a smaller number of times at your discretion. For example, we want to reduce the load on the deposit by 2 times, for this we divide 19 by 2, we get 9. In the parameter “Duplicate lot X times (0 - disabled)” we set the number 10 (since the main lot 0.01 will be subtracted from this number) . As a result, we will have a main lot of 0.01 and an additional lot of 0.09. Thus, we reduced risks and did not load the entire deposit.

      Attention!!! The step may be larger than that specified in the settings when candlestick analysis and the indicator signal are enabled.

  The strategy of the Leprechaun X robot is based on observing the price movement during the daily trading session.

    Trading is conducted daily on 10 currency pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUDUSD, AUDCAD, USDCHF, AUDCHF, NZDUSD, NZDCAD, EURGBP.

    Trading uses the default bot settings for version X.

    Autolot is enabled in the bot by default, which allows the bot to always focus on the deposit size when calculating the lot of the starting order. You can also set a fixed fixed lot size.

    In the bot's default settings, the "Lot Multiplier" parameter responsible for increasing the lot size with each new averaging order is set to "1.0", which means that the bot will open a grid of orders without increasing the lot size.

    This will definitely reduce the load on the deposit, but it can also lead to a long suspension of the order grid. To make the grids close faster and also to make more profit, set the "Lot Multiplier" parameter to "1.5". But at the same time, the risks and drawdown, as well as the profit, will be greater!
