Forex robots - why do some earn and others lose? Or how to start making money on Forex!

This story is about me and my good friend and about our different approaches to finding a tool for investing and passive income on the Internet. I was able to find the Grail on Forex, and my friend continues to look for it!

For several years we have been searching for the Grail in the forex market, looking for profitable strategies and trading robots. Due to the different approach to finding profitable forex robots, my friend continues to lose money in the Forex market, and I found the very Grail that suits me completely.

The problem of finding a Grail forex bot is that most people need everything at once! Many people want 100% profit in a month at once, or better yet, in a week or just a day. In pursuit of profit and disregard for risks when trading, a lot of people drain deposit after deposit on forex bots. The result is always the same – draining, complete loss of the deposit. • 2. Risk neglect – overestimation of the lot size or underestimation of the deposit size. As a rule, the 1st problem - "The pursuit of profit" pushes to the 2nd problem – "Risk neglect".
• 3. Trading strategy of the bot – the strategy is not able to trade profitably in different phases of the market (trend and flat), respectively, it cannot trade profitably in the long term.

I have a very good friend who is still looking for a Grail forex bot. He, like most people, has two of the above problems, "Chasing profit" and "Neglecting risks". He finds another forex bot on the Internet and, if there are any statistics for a short period of a month or two, he puts himself in a real dollar account with a deposit of 100-300 bucks. What conclusions can be drawn from these trade statistics:

• - the robot has been trading for profit for a long time and successfully passed different phases of the market and did not merge the deposit, which means that the bot can trade in different phases of the market both during a flat and during a recoilless trend. The maximum drawdown for all 2.5 years of trading was about 50%, which is acceptable, given that the bot has passed all the surprises of the market during this long period of trading.
• - the large permanent profitability in 2022 at the level of 10% per month is due to the fact that at that time the correct correspondence between the deposit size and the starting lot had not yet been established and the start was made with a deposit of 50,000 cents ($500), which is not sufficient. At the moment, it is established that in order to solve problem No. 2 "Risk neglect", the deposit amount should be from 200,000 cents ($2000).
• - during 2023-2024, the monthly profit ranged from 2% to 9% per month, which, due to the work of the "compound interest", brought significant profits and increased the initial deposit several times. For 2.5 years of trading, the profit amounted to 320%.

Of course, we must not forget that the forex market remains high-risk for investments even with such a correct approach described above. No trade statistics can guarantee that something unpredictable will not happen in the market. Therefore, you should not keep golden eggs in one basket, you need to put them in different ones. This asset should be considered highly risky and put an appropriate percentage of your portfolio on it, taking into account the risk.

Now let's estimate how much money my good friend lost, spending 100-300 dollars on a deposit every time he found another "Grail" - another forex bot on the Internet for 2.5 years (I still do not take into account the amounts that went to buy these bots, and this is many times more). I do not know how many times he has turned this cycle, but one thing I know for sure is that he has not found a profitable forex bot to date. And most importantly, he will not find his approach until he solves the three above problems and changes his approach to this!
